Acme 1:18 Scale 1971 Plymouth Cuda 340 - Vinyl Top, Is Painted In Tahitian Walnut Metallic with a White Vinyl Top. These are the first Barracudas produced by Acme with the 340 engine and in this color!

The 1971 Plymouth Barracuda was the third generation of the Plymouth Barracuda, which was first introduced in 1964. The 1971 model year brought many changes to the Barracuda, including a new grille, dual headlights, new taillights, side "gills", seat, and trim differences. It was also the only year that the Barracuda would have four headlights and fender "gills" on the 'Cuda model. Other features included optional billboard stripes, rear louvers, and a rear spoiler. The Shaker hood also returned for its final year in production. This was the final year that such a wide range of engine options was available, with the largest engine offered for the Barracuda being a 340 CID V8.

Since the Coupe was just a stripped down hardtop model, their production numbers are grouped together. While these were the best selling models of the 1971 Barracudas, their production was only at 9,459.
